I’m the founder of user experience design firm Forty, a creative firm that’s been designing rich, emotional, and effective experiences for over a decade. Over the years I’ve worked for clients like Microsoft, Motorola, Walmart, and Yahoo, and our projects have appeared in U.S. News & World Report, Fast Company, Businessweek, Entrepreneur, New York Times, AdAge, NPR, and others.

In 2014, Forty was acquired by digital services firm Crowd Favorite, and I now serve as Crowd Favorite’s Chief Creative Officer, overseeing design, content strategy, branding, and marketing.

Deep Design is a source for thoughtful content about designing digital and physical human experiences. You won’t find any catchy infographics, “Top 17 Ways to…” lists, or “You won’t believe what happened next!” posts here. Just great content about real design.

Deep Design is for those who understand that design is about solving real-world problems and taking advantage of yet-unexplored opportunities, and not just “making things pretty”.
